District Grants require the approval of the District Grants Chair and the Grants Committee.

Local within Australia:

  • For smaller local community projects anywhere within Australia.
  • Projects are initiated by a Club and there must be active Rotarian involvement.
  • The Project must be a new initiative by the Club.
  • Minimum grant A$1,000.
  • Maximum grant A$3,000 matching dollar for dollar  i.e. $1 Grant funding for every $1 D9800 Rotary club contribution
  • Higher value grants are available where multiple clubs collaborate financially and actively on a project"
     
Low value School Scholarships 
Designed to help talented and motivated students entering Year 11 and intending to proceed to Year 12 who are considered by the school to be financially disadvantaged.  The choice of who receives the scholarship is up to the school.  The scholarship grant is for $1250, matching a D9800 club contribution 1:1 to cover Year 11 and Year 12, and may be shared by more than one student.
