DROUGHT RELIEF SUPPORT PLAN
D9800 Rotary clubs link with a Rotary club in a drought affected area in line with the Adopt a Town project –www.adoptatown.org.au.
Clubs collaborate on activity/project in the community -‘Work Rotary to Rotary’.
Develop a plan to support the community which includes distribution of vouchers from local shops and L’Oreal packs (available from D9800).
D9800 Rotary club visit to the town.
Visit the town / Stay in their hotels / Eat in their restaurants and Pubs / Shop in their shops.
Local and D9800 Rotarian develop bonds when working on the project.
Lasting relationships forged

Events help bring the community together and form bonds.
It is far better to support local communities including purchasing food and produce from local suppliers.
This assists local business remaining in the community and the long term survival of the town.
