Great evening spent with the Chirnside cluster clubs as we continued to work together through hands-on volunteering. 50 food packs were given to Afghan refugees and 100 birthing kits are making their way overseas. Thanks to the club presidents Kwabena Larbi, Cheryl Nash, Ian Hovey, Pascal Ochi and Seema Lal for updating everyone on the difference their clubs are making, I'm always blown away by what clubs achieve!

No official DG cluster visit would be complete without our mentoring recognitions and the Chirnside cluster visit was extra special as friend and DGN Michael Lapina was recognised by superstar Maryanne Decleava for helping her unlock her potential as a leader. I got to recognise one of my own mentors PDG Julie Mason who first inspired my journey to District Governor and continues to support and guide me.

Huge congratulations also to Gary Wilson on his major donor recognition which no doubt is going straight to the poolroom. Through the generous support of donors like Gary, our Rotary Foundation continues to support our life-changing projects and is rightfully recognised as one of the world's leading charities.

Special thanks to AG extraordinaire Peter Shepheard for MC'ing and being an all-round legend!
