NOEL TENNISON was media advisor and speech writer for the Premier of Victoria, Rupert Hamer, from 1973 to 1975. He then conducted a Public Relations practice in Melbourne for the next 20 years. During this time he worked for six political parties and five trade unions and became president of the Melbourne Press Club in 1991. In 2006, Noel won a national poetry award and two years later, he published his memoirs in a book under the title," My Spin in PR".
