Avenues of Service
Based on the Object of Rotary, the Avenues of Service are Rotary’s philosophical cornerstone and the foundation on which club activity is based.
Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self are channelled through these Avenues of Service. Rotary International and Rotary District 9800 provides a diverse and exciting range of opportunities for each Rotary club to engage with their local, regional and international community to make a positive and worthwhile contribution to society through innovative club projects, local initiatives and the many Rotary programmes available. The opportunities for community engagement are endless through the generous contribution of volunteer service by Rotarians partnering with their families, friends of Rotary, other community groups and the financial support of local businesses to benefit our communities and make this world a better place.
