WATER CONSERVATION
 | | Drains To Our Waterways - A program Rotary is using to help protect and keep our waterways clean of pollution and litter.
| Water is vital to our lives in every way. We drink it, we bathe in it, we wash with it, we eat food from crops that must have it to grow, we swim in it - we interact with water everyday. But how we protect and conserve our clean water supplies determines the quality and quantity of water we will have for the future.

Rotary District 9800 has for some years been running programs developed to conserve water and protect our waterways - for the benefit of humans, nature and wildlife.
| Several of our programs have provided education to school aged children, helping them form habits that will last throughout their lives, and at the same time helping educate their families. The focus of our current efforts toward water conservation is a program called Drainsto our Waterways.
