Children's Author, Rhonda M Tallnash

Rhonda, is a special educationalist, and author of books, including: ‘Beware of Lulu’, ‘Quickfire Questa’, 'Don’t Mess with Frederick!, 'Fair Dinkum Ned’. She wrote the books two decades ago after running out of reading material to interest her students who were often reluctant readers and listeners.

Rhonda has visited numerous schools, been a guest author and story teller in libraries entertaining hundreds of children around Victoria reading her books and some of her other stories from the manuscripts with limited illustrations. Audiences of all ages thoroughly enjoy the rhyming quirky all-Australian stories including her latest release ‘Fair Dinkum Ned’ about that well-known bloke from north-east Victoria, which is the first book in the ‘Pickled History Series’.

The books proudly boast being Australian products using Australian humour, language and artistic expertise. The American culture and language to which so many of our children are constantly exposed just makes Rhonda cringe! She is so proud to say that these books are true blue fair dinkum Aussie, right down to being printed in Shepparton by Prominent Press.
