Locally, Rotary has always been a driving force behind well-recognised community, international, environment, health and youth programs such as The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund, RotaryInternational Student Exchanges and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. Each of these programs has had a recognisable impact on both local and international communities.

Because Rotarians are volunteers and put in their own time, money and effort they make sure that each is spent in an effective and efficient way, making real differences in the world around us. We encourage our fellow Rotarians to pursue their passions with vigour in helping others – and we invite you to help us in doing so. Your donation can help us:
- Help prevent youth suicide
- Help sponsor villages and bring clean water to them
- Help put an indigenous child through further education
- Help more waiting list patients receive life-saving donor organs
- Help save someone you know from prostate cancer
- Help someone rebuild their life after putting an addiction behind them
- Help feed a community ravaged by drought
- Help shelter a family following an earthquake
- Help youth gain their first job
- Help people over 40 re-establish a career
- Help kids see and make choices and habits that will take their lives in positive directions.
