| The Science Schools program is Rotary District 9800's way of encouraging students to explore and participate in the exciting world of science.
The program invests in students who have shown an interest in science and allows them to interact with professionals and peers alike on the national stage.

Each year Rotary District 9800 selects students to participate in two premier science programs:
| i) The National Youth Science Forum
| A prestigious two week programme attended by students who have completed year 11 and are thinking of pursing a career in science and technology. The forum is fully residential and held in Canberra in January each year. In the past few years District 9800 has been able to send approximately 16 students.
| ii) The Siemens Science Experience
| This 2-3 day program is conducted over the summer months, by participating universities in Melbourne for Year 9 students interested in science. There is no selection process and students only need to obtain endorsement from their local Rotary club to enrol.
| With your help, even more students can develop their passion for science while having the scientific experience of a lifetime.
