In 1917, Rotary International President, Arch Klump established what has now become the The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
Its purpose was "doing good in the world", in charitable, educational or other avenues of service.
A record number of 17 outbound students were selected to be Australian Youth Exchange ambassadors to Brazil, Germany, France, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the USA.
Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18.
The clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
